40 meter GS skis

This is my first run in gates on the new 40 meter radius GS skis. I put a lot of it into slow motion so you could see how the entire top of the turn is almost completely sliding. Our biggest fear is that FIS's decision to change the radius minimum is going to suck the fun and excitement out of GS skiing. Ski racing is all about the glory of bending up a ski and snapping off a nasty clean, crisp arc. It's that liberating feeling of excitement, power, and freedom that makes this sport so special.
