Mike Snowboarding at Tignes

The clip shows me enjoying the snow conditions on the nursery slope. With my long term goal of using traction kites with all methods of locomotion, Greg kindly offered to teach me how to Snowboard, after the first couple of days (falling over) I managed some respectable runs. I admit I will not the fastest or the most stylish Snowboarder but now I have the basics and it should pay dividends when using a kite for traction in the snow, starting with the basics I progressed within days to linking turns, Tignes has beautiful panoramic views (including Mount Blanc) and the above clip shows the fine weather we experienced on a couple of days on the trip. The video doesn't give the viewer the appreciation of speed you feel when actually boarding, I really didn't mind snowboarding quickly, it's just the sudden stop that hurts !!
