TRIPLE the action - FIS Nordic Combined - BEHIND THE SCENES

The Nordic Combined TRIPLE in Seefeld is a very unique event: Nordic Combined's mini tour is developing into a season highlight for the discipline. Race Director Lasse Ottesen, triple TRIPLE Champion Eric Frenzel and main contender Akito Watabe explain the fascination. Amazing side events all over town included! DESCRIPTION: Nordic Combined is a winter sport in which athletes compete in both cross-country skiing and ski jumping. The first major competition in Nordic combined was held in 1892 in Oslo at the first Holmenkollen Ski Festival, an event still held annually. The sport was included at the 1924 Winter Olympics, and has been on the programme ever since.
