Stretching Shell of Dalbello Ski Boot - Custom fit for duck feet
I have short wide feet like a duck, also with a high instep. As a result, it is hard to find shoes that fit, much less boots. This is how I fixed my boots to be comfortable all day with great blood circulation. You need some liquid casting resin, a heatgun and a wife that won't kill you for doing it in the warm house. Two of those can be purchased on ebay. Update: I had a friend with some Rossignal boots that were causing black and blue toenails that would fall off. I told him I would take care of it but could never get the shell to soften no matter how hot I got it. Maybe if I had a small hydraulic cylinder to force it, but just be aware that not all plastics are the same. You might test it first on a small area before doing all the work with the resin.
