Andrea Limbacher (AUT) thrilled the hometown Austrian crowd by giving them their first Freestyle gold of Kreischberg 2015 in the final competition of the Championships, becoming the second Austrian lady to win ski cross gold after the legend Karin Huttary did it in 2005. Behind her, Ophelie David (FRA), competing in her sixth WSCs, further cemented her legacy as the greatest ski cross athlete of all time, with her silver medal being the fourth of her WSCs career. For the men, Filip Flisar (SLO) made history as the first Slovenian athlete to ever win a medal at the Freestyle WSCs, claiming gold in a stunning men's competition that ended Kreischberg 2015 on the highest of highs.
