ISPO 13 Preview - Blizzard Scout 2013/14

The new Scout is the latest member of the Blizzard Mountain Lite range, and the favourite choice of Teamrider Björn Heregger. It's built with weight-saving technology, and designed for Backcountry-Fans who prefer a balanced performance both ascending and descending. The Scout is a wide, versatile freeride ski with strong ascending qualities, and convinces utilizing the same shape as its famous brother - the Blizzard Cochise. A 108 mm waist and Full Rocker Flip Core 3D construction create massive float in powder, and the reduced weight saves energy when climbing. A double Quadrax layer, a Titanal insert around the binding and a lightweight core of Bamboo and Poplar enable its lively handling and smooth, controlled ride.
