Tonaro Bighit @ Cromer Woods MTB Trek Training Session - 20.02.2011

Introduction ---------------- Cromers Wood Trek -- 20.02.2011 -- it's 2nd MTB Single Track for the Big Hit electric pedal assist bike Bike Used -------------- Brand: Tonaro Model: Big Hit -- Electrically Power Assisted MTB Cycle Modifications: None -- Standard Stock Model (without front mudguards fitted) Trek Overview ------------------- Now over a week old it was time for another little trek on single track at my local woods, the conditions were very poor again due to wet soft mud, lots of water logged tracks made worse by the previous 2 days rain and certain sections looking literally like a mud slide as I demonstrated 3 times on the Steps Section which has an immediate right turn at the foot of the steps hence trying to travel slowly as to avoid the trees at the bottom without much success. The remainer of the tracks seemed to have been cleared away of leaves as more walkers and MTB'rs clear the winter leaves that hampered things last weekend. The Kenda Nevegal Tyres improved things greatly albeit a few sections again were just too steep and slippery for either man power or motor....I can't wait to test it again when the ground is much firmer.... This bike and my local woods are the basis for my training to get fit and also help me pedal hard and fast when needed to keep up with the pace setters when out with buddies... Whilst this will never replace my hardtail or full suss GIANT's I am having fun with it so far....
