deeluxe has worked with xavier de le rue to redevelop his signature model and the result is nothing short of revolutionary. the new hiking fit gives the xv a much more compact, lighter design, and a neutral profile optimised for touring, hiking and riding. to ensure it stands up to the toughest conditions, the xv features continuous tpu welding throughout the shell, a rubber rim protecting the front of the and an innovative waterproof and breathable membrane.
outer boot the backbone is a reinforcement on the back of the boot that provides durability, stability and regulates flex. the d-tex membrane is waterproof and breathable and thus keeps your feet warm and dry. the rockguard is an abrasion-resistant rubber rim and protects the boot from wear and tear, as well as damage from rock and ice. the hiking boot-inspired hiker flex construction has no forward lean, but combines a flex zone with the xls system. this combination is ideal for hiking, touring and downhill riding, as the shell allows maximum mobility in forward and backward movement, while at the same time guaranteeing stable support. the stay on track system is a lateral and a medial reinforcement element. this provides improved leverage when you want to easily negotiate difficult traverses while touring. the deep days membrane is a continuous membrane that envelops the entire boot. it is waterproof, breathable and provides exceptional comfort and extra protection from the elements.
lacing system the dual boa® system is fast, super strong and gives you the possibility to adjust the boot to the millimetre. this system allows you to adjust the upper and lower zones independently using two dials. this way the complete boot can be perfectly adapted to the foot.
