The Stubai Glacier, the largest in Austria, is 50 kilometers from the Brenner Pass and 38 kilometers from Innsbruck.
Using the cableway Schaufeljoch you can quickly reach the highest point of the glacier, the "Top of Tyrol", located at 3165 m altitude.
There are 24 modern ski lifts and 100 kilometers of slopes, with snow all year, giving the opportunity to practice various disciplines: downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding, carving, telemark and backcountry.
All 4 Stubaital ski areas are accessible through the single ski pass. For fans of ice climbing, at the start of Gamsgarten there is a waterfall of 20 meters in height. For lovers of free skiing and snowboarding there will be a fun park along 400 meters this year. Athletes can descend on banked curves, cross steep walls, undulating tracks, three large and three small jumps, flat box, rainbow box and flatrail.
