Stelvissimo, the longest ski race on ice
To remember Marco Schiantarelli, a big "homme de ski", a former coach of the national Azzurra, head coach of Skiing magazine, sportswriter and friend of many of the "Cross", June 26 Passo Stelvio (SO/BZ) will host, for the second year, the most incredible summer ski race, Stelvissimo. More than four kilometers in a single breath, the tip of the Spirits (3400 m) up to the Stelvio Pass (2760 m) the longest race ever seen on a glacier.
The path will be traced by directional ports that run all the way, the ski is long and quite challenging, especially in the second half, but the reach of all skiers from intermediate level upwards. The spirit of the event is that of the pure and wholesome entertainment: a unique experience, represented by the pleasure of a great "summer skiing" on a track at your disposal. We start two at a time and covers the first part of the race to finish first in open field at the beginning of the track, hence a long lead up to the giant Stelvio Pass. An event that wants to unite everything that makes great skiing in Italy, a chance to have fun, get together and give to charity.
There will be many names that have shaped the history of skiing, many sports personalities and entertainment and lots of friends who have had the honor of "Crash" on the ski slopes or simply enjoying a glass of fine wine. There will be food stands, music and entertainment throughout the event. Stelvissimo is dedicated especially to those who love skiing, lived in the party, the healthy, the one who loved Mark. A comprehensive welcome pack will be delivered on the occasion of accreditation: backpack, t-shirts, gadgets surprise photo after the race.
It will be a big party on the slopes, surrounded by the setting of the Stelvio Pass and surrounded by the spirit of the legendary Crash.
