the outer boot is equipped with a vibram® sole for ultimate sure-footedness and durability. the sole is also suitable for crampons. the revised walk mode collar, which works with the boa system, provides larger strides and more comfort on the ascent by loosening the shaft. the full zip gaiter, the molded rubber toe cap and sealed seams protect your boots and especially your feet from all the resistance you will encounter in the backcountry. the 3d shaped tongue hardly leaves any pressure points and ensures a pleasant and comfortable ride. allowing the upper and lower zones of the boot to flex independently creates fluid forward motion, minimises shell distortion, and maximises heel hold and response. the performance backstay offers you absolute durability by reducing abrasion in the highback area. the storm shield all-weather seal offers additional protection against wetness and cold.
