The Sleepwalker is the definition for the best park and freestyle performance

The Sleepwalker combines smooth agility and a playful feel without sacrificing pop or high-speed stability. It's packed with freestyle-oriented features like a Rock Out Camber profile, a True Twin shape and a perfect flex for presses and jibs. Overall, the Sleepwalker is an excellent choice for any park-oriented rider.

Riding style
A parkboard for experienced shredders. Designed for all aspects of park riding, jumps, pipes and jibs. An absolute power package with sufficient flexibility. And of course it can cope with any other terrain without any problems.

Shape
The True Twin, especially for freestyle action: identical length and shape of tip and tail, symmetrical core profile, flex and a centred stance position. This offers you the same skiing characteristics both forward and switch. With the EQ Rad Sidecut, equalizers and radial lines together provide the perfect balance of agility and fun.

Profile
The Rock Out Camber profile is flat between the bindings for stability. The camber close to the feet increases control and a rocker on tip and tail offers a forgiving, playful feel.

Flex
The soft-medium flex makes the board very flexible, perfect for butter tricks and tweaks. Additionally, softer boards offer a fun ride and a comfortable ride through any terrain.

Construction
The Aspen Strong core features strips of FSC-certified aspen wood for improved impact resistance and reliable flex from the start of the season to spring slush. The Biax fibreglass offers medium, minimal torsional flex and a forgiving riding experience. The sintered base is fast and stays that way if you take good care of it. Salomon enhances the natural snap and pop of the wood core with a specially shaped Popster core profile. Royal Rubber Pads are added to the sidewalls to protect high wear areas of the edge.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

Very good

I'm 176 cm tall and weight around 80 kg. My foot size is us 9. I have been riding over 20 years and mainly ride in the park. I have always been more into quite soft and short boards because my riding style is really loose and like that board feel is more surfy and skate like feel. I chose this product in size 153 and i would say that it is a perfect fit for me.

I have tested the board about 15 days now and it has been performing excellent since the first day. I have ridden the board in the park and it performs really well in the rails and boxes, but also on the small and medium jumps. Maybe for the biggest jumps this isn't the optimal choice but in my opinion the board handled the bigger obstacles okay too. I have also ridden the board in a small half pipe and it was really fun and handled it quite good. Sleepwalker works also when just cruising around the resort and trying to find some side hits and slashing some snow on skiers. Sleepwalker got Salomon`s Rock Out camber profile which I would describe mild camber. You can notice the camber profile but its not too aggressive and you can twist and press the board easily. Overall flex on this board feels like 4/10 so its not a completely noodle, but not a stiff board either. One thing I liked also on Sleepwalker is the Salomon`s Freestyle Edge Bevel, which means that your edges are slightly turned so it gives little forgiveness on rails. This years model Salomon also upgraded the base from extruded to sintered base which is nice.

I would recommend this board for anybody who is spending most of their days in the park and like a little softer board that is also very fun to ride.
