The Burton Ruler takes your snowboarding to the next level, taking you to higher jumps and bigger obstacles. The Burton Ruler Step On® for men offers flexible performance with the added comfort of the Boa® Coiler closure system. The boot is designed specifically for the Burton Step On® binding to deliver unprecedented quick entry/exit and pristine board control in an incredibly simple system. To fine-tune the boot, simply turn the Boa® twist locks, step into the binding and you're ready to go.

Outer boot
An excellent feel from the counter with Total Comfort - an exclusive construction that skips the break-in period and scores with instant comfort from day one to day one. The tongues of all Burton boots feature internal reinforcement that completely seals the bottom of the boot to keep your feet warm and dry. The special Step On® Backstay on the back of the boot provides extra grip between the boot and binding and is specially adapted to the Step On® binding. The light rubber print transfers power directly from the boot to the binding, preventing premature fatigue. The firm and flexing 1:1 PowerUp Tongue provides an increased response with great rebound and durability. The Step On® outsole features toe studs in the forefoot that securely lock into the binding. The EST® optimised midsole shifts the centre of gravity downwards and improves board feel without compromising comfort. Thanks to ultra-strong cushioning B3 gel inserts, not a hint of cushioning is lost.

Liner
The thermo-mouldable Imprint™ 2 liner comes with 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation. With 3M™, Burton has found a progressive solution. 3M™ Thinsulate™ is an insulation made from a unique microfibre with high bulk for more warmth and less bulk. Breathable, water repellent and durable. The ultra-low-profile Lock-Up Cuff guides the laces over the forefoot and ankle for ultimate heel hold and easy entry and exit. The fluffy Man Fur lining keeps your feet incredibly warm and comfortable.

Lacing system
The Boa® system's lacing is guided by the newly designed coiler coil inside, and the turntable system allows for quick, easy and effective adjustment of the lacing. Ropes made of natural fibre are more flexible and feel more natural - more comfort all day long. The system allows a precise fit to the foot for maximum comfort. The Boa® closure also allows the boots to be loosened or tightened quickly. No rough metal wires are used for the closure, but ropes made in the USA from natural fibre. The almost indestructible New England rope laces are the same ones used by stuntmen, firefighters and rescue teams.
