The Ultra version of the legendary Flagship

You thought you couldn't make Jones' infamous Flagship any better? Think again. The Ultra Flagship is a lighter and better version of the Flagship, featuring Ultra construction and new Fusion Carbon technology. Power Plates have also been added on the edges for additional damping. They provide less vibration and more pop.

Shape
The Ultra Flagship comes with a tapered directional shape that makes high speeds super easy and offers you good uplift. A directional shape is the classic, most versatile snowboard shape. The pop is concentrated in the tail and provides ample float and control in all terrain and snow conditions. Taper means a narrower tail than nose, which allows the tail to sink into the deep snow and lifts your nose out a bit more. The blunt nose ensures that less snow is carried backwards over the sides of the nose. This gives you all the advantages of a traditional nose and also saves weight. Traction Tech 3.0, the corrugated edge, ensures the best edge hold in all conditions. At the ends of the progressive waist, the radius is gradually increased until the edges reach the contact points. Gradually increase the radius towards the contact point for a smoother turn initiation. This waist thereby offers a less abrupt transition into the snow.

Profile
The Directional Rocker consists of a camber between the bindings and a larger rocker at the nose than at the tail. This keeps the board extremely manoeuvrable in pow and gives it additional buoyancy. The camber offers you good edge hold and fast power transmission. The slightly rockered tail increases power transmission and stability. In addition, the chance of tipping during switch landing is reduced.
The freeride-focused 3D Base Contour 3.0 comes with a balanced 7 mm upturn in nose and tail. The bending up of the base starts at the rocker.

Flex
Hard, harder, Ultra Flagship. With a stiff flex (10/10), you can easily handle high-speed runs and enjoy an exceptionally precise feel.

Construction
The Jones Ultra construction eliminates all unnecessary materials. In combination with the super light wood core and carbon stringers, you get one of the most stable and lightest boards on the market. The FSC™ Power Core is a triple-density solid wood core with bamboo stringers for added pop and durability and paulownia for weight savings. Fusion Carbon technology, used exclusively on very special Jones Premium boards, involves fusing multiple layers of carbon fibres to the core using epoxy. This technology makes the board extremely light and durable. Power Plates on the edges provide less vibration and more pop. Bio Resin is plant-based and is used instead of petroleum-based epoxy. The FSC™ Ash Veneer Topsheet is a topsheet and a reinforcing layer in one. The Float Pack Inserts allow you a decent setback for the really deep days. The sintered Ultra Base is the best base in the Jones repertoire. Jones boards are made with oversized recycled steel edges for added durability and improved sustainable production. The ABS in the sidewalls is made from 100 % recycled material. All Jones boards are 'Ready to shred' and are waxed with natural WEND wax at the factory.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
