A PLAYFUL AND CREATIVE FREERIDE POWDERBOARD

The Salomon HPS-Taka 2.0 was completely designed and built by snowboard icon Takaharu Nakai. This board combines a tapered directional share and Powder Camber profile with a medium to soft flex. The large rocker in the nose makes this masterpiece extremely agile and smooth when you're surfing through the deepest snow in your favourite part of the backcountry.
This splitboard comes with a 100 % recycled base, perfectly fitted Pomoca skins and high-quality Plum equipment.

Riding style
A playful, lightweight splitboard for every rider. The Taka 2.0 is creative on the descent and easy on the ascent.

Shape
The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is slightly wider than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The offset of the bindings in the direction of the tail (setback) makes the nose a little longer for even more uplift in powder.

Profile
The Powder Camber profile consists of a camber between the bindings, a large rocker area in the nose and a slightly smaller rocker in the tail. This keeps the board extremely manoeuvrable in the pow and gives it enormous uplift. The camber offers you good edge hold and fast power transmission.

Flex
The soft-medium flex allows you to make easy turns and ensures a fun and comfortable ride through any terrain at all times.

Construction
The 100% recycled sintered EG base is designed for super fast gliding on all types of snow, from fresh powder snow to sultry spring snow. Salomon increases the natural snap and pop of the wood core with a specially shaped Popster core profile. The components of the Ghost Green core have been selected and developed to optimise pop and reduce weight while at the same time utilising the sustainable properties of super light paulownia wood. Plum hardware and perfectly fitted Pomoca skins round off the Taka 2.0 perfectly.
