THE DISASTER WITH NEW NOSE SHAPE FOR MORE KICK AND A SKATE-LIKE FEELING

The Disaster is the jib machine that Bataleon team riders rely on! Whether relaxed boxes in the park or gnarly street trails in the city, this bike does it all. It is the softest board in the range and therefore perfect for churning, pressing and sliding. Just look at what Jaeger and Gulli deliver on it.

Riding style
The Disaster is at home on the rails and boxes of this world. Jibbing is its motto, whether park or street.

Shape
There is only one suitable shape in the park and it is called Twin. SideKick™ tips increase edge lift at the widest points of the nose and tail for even easier turn initiation.

Profile
The Disaster comes with a Twin 3BT™ shape with symmetrical tip and tail. Balance and stability, no matter how you jump or land. The low camber is almost a flat, but offers enough pop to get onto the rails.

Flex
The soft flex (3/10) is made for jibbing. Rails and boxes are happy to be ripped by this board.

Construction
The core is made of solid poplar wood core interspersed with beech wood strands and lies between 2 layers of biaxial fibreglass. This allows for great press and pop characteristics and fast manoeuvrability. The extruded Hyperglide S Base is extremely durable, fast and requires almost no maintenance. Shock Walls™ absorb shock and provide a vibration-free ride.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
