All-mountain freestyle with maximum pop and power

The Rome National offers stability for jumps and kickers, precision for carving and power for deep powder. The flex, Fusion Camber profile and Carbon HotRods create a high-performance board for all-mountain riders with a strong freestyle influence.  This year the National comes with shock absorbing Flax Impact Plates to give you even more durability.

Riding style
All-Mountain/Freestyle for experienced and advanced riders. You want to have fun all over the mountain? This board does it all, from sidehits on the edge of the piste, powder runs in the backcountry, fast carving turns to sessions in the park.

Shape
The directional twin shape of this board is actually a perfectly symmetrical true twin shape, but with a slightly longer nose. This shape gives you the same riding characteristics both forward and switch, with a little more uplift in powder.

Profile
The Fusion Camber profile combines a classic camber between the bindings with a rocker in the tip and tail. This creates a playful and forgiving riding experience while maintaining the pop and precision of the camber.

Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.

Construction
The SuperPop core increases pop by using poplar wood combined with three separate zones of low density woods for a lower overall weight. The SinterSpeed Base consists of a premium base material with enormous wax absorption. It is Rome's fastest and most advanced base for demanding riders. HotRods are thin tubes made of carbon, bamboo or fibreglass and are embedded in milled channels in the wooden core of the board. The flex and pop can thus be precisely placed and changed.  Flax Impact Plates at critical points absorb shocks and thus ensure durability.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
