The Rome do-it-all board

The Rome Freaker cannot be pigeonholed. It shreds with you everything from park, to sidehits, deep euro-carves on hard slopes and deep powder.
The secret of this all-mountain snowboard is the combination of Fusion Camber for stability, Bamboo Hotrods for snap and pop and the Directional Twin shape. Bring freestyle to your freeride runs and rock any terrain.

Riding style
A board for every terrain and every rider. Carving turns on the piste, surf turns in the powder or creative runs in the park. With this board the good times never end.

Shape
The Directional Twin shape has the advantage that the nose is slightly longer than the tail, giving you more float in powder. However, the nose and tail are the same width, so even switch riding is no problem.

Profile
The Fusion Camber profile combines a classic camber between the bindings with a rocker in the tip and tail. This creates a playful and forgiving riding experience while maintaining the pop and precision of the camber.

Flex
The medium-stiff flex makes the board perfect for just about anything. Not too hard for the park and not too soft for hard powder runs.

Construction
The Pop Core includes two zones of lightweight woods combined with poplar wood for a buttery smooth ride with high power flex. The Sinterstrong Base is easy to repair, with good wax absorption. A low-maintenance base for every rider level. HotRods are thin tubes made of carbon, bamboo or fibreglass and are embedded in milled channels in the wooden core of the board. The flex and pop can thus be precisely placed and changed.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

About Rome

Rome SDS lives and breathes snowboarding and has done so since day one. Seeking to reestablish the true roots of snowboarding, Rome kicked off production is 2001. Their goal was to create a brand that "lives the values of snowboarding and innovates products that increase the one thing that matters most in snowboarding: fun." They have overshot their goal by miles, and as true snowboarders at heart, we are stoked to have them as a part of our team.
