Outer boot
With a flex of 9, this boot is extremely stiff, for experienced riders who fully trust their material. The exclusive Power Frame brings longer lasting flex with added RPU inserts. With the Malamute-exclusive removable Energizer H bars, you can further adjust the flex to your needs. The Trek EC+ sole comes with Salomon's exclusive technology for all-mountain boots and combines the rebound of Energy Cell+ and the stability of VIBE composite material.

Liner
Platinum 4D Liner - This liner gives you full support for your backcountry action and is precisely adjustable to your feet. With removable inserts for the ankle region and extra heel grip material, your foot will always sit firmly in the right place. The liner is fully heat-mouldable to fit your foot. An integrated heel strap pulls your heel to the sole of the shoe for a bombproof fit. The Ortholite C3 footbed with different degrees of hardness gives you the right support and comfort and an EVA pad under the heel cushions hard landings. You can also easily wash the inner shoes to prevent bacteria and odour.

Lacing system
The famous Powerlock lacing system comes with a bombproof zigzag closure on the tongue and hooks on the top. A powerful, simple system that can handle any situation on the mountain.
