TEST: Clothing Wed'ze

Founded in 2006, Wed'ze is the brand dedicated to skiing and snowboarding in stores Decathlon. The stated purpose is to make accessible to the greatest number of people practicing winter sports, but the products are good? Here is our test Wed'ze FlowFit Warm X

The objective of our tests was to verify whether the low price means some or many sacrifices, or if he can in each case to ensure the head is not cheap.

Wed'ze FlowFit Warm X is the classic mesh to be put under the ski jacket, preferably in contact with the skin as suggested by the indications of Wed'ze. However, as we will say later, you will get good results even with a layer of underwear.
Is a yarn made of polyester and elastane (precisely 89% polyester 11% elastane) and is characterized by comfortable inserts elbows and on the sides (the areas of greatest movement) equipped with a greater number of elastic fibers in such a way as to ensure more balanced movements.
This yarn is used by many products Wed'ze and is the STRATERMIC , thought for a very good thermal insulation due to the inside brushed for warmth.
Dressed in the shirt is very tight, almost too much in the area below the shoulders, but gives a sense of winding of the body, coming very close to those product designed more for the coveted "race" for the classic tourist use.
the side of the heat retention results are very good, despite not having that feeling of warmth immediately offering other products in natural fibers, has been isolated from the surrounding cold and the sensation of heat increases greatly with body movement.
With this product you will probably have very little cold and the first objective of our test is reached, you can stay warm even a product of the mass distribution.
The flaws, however, find themselves on the level of breathability. When physical stress is high transpiration of water vapor is slow, and affected by the material used. If the stress remains high for a long time, the product tends to be slow to return and get wet dry.
The cloth is recommended as Wed'ze layer underwear, and then in direct contact with the skin. However at this juncture the shirt tends to get wet due to sweating during times of high stress and is reastia nell'asciugarsi quickly. In fact, the manufacturer recommends that the head especially for downhill skiing excluding very expensive sports such as mountaineering.
In our tests we also tried the head with an inner layer between the body and the shirt FlowFit X Warm, making account that the results were the same pratichamente, with the added advantage (assuming you have a good jacket with good insulation and high breathability) to dress ourselves only with these two layers under the jacket.
In the case of normal skier in a day and not excessively hot, the results are very satisfactory in terms of breathability. It is therefore a good product for 90% of skiers, while those for the agonist, or mountaineers, subject to higher forces that skiers.
In conclusion we can say that Wed'ze has fully achieved the goal of heating the body, while still not optimal management of the breathability of the garment in some situations
Final Rating: 7 good underwear, especially for the low price of 25 Euros.

CONS: Transpiration in crisis (-2); drying times longer than the competitors (-1).
