Stoeckli, the test of the ski edge in the market 2011/2012
by Federico Casnati

The group of testers Neveitalia continues in its tests of 2012 models with Stöckli. The construttore Switzerland, known for precision and 'craftsmanship of its slopes led to testing the two models: SL Laser and Laser double standards in GS, respectively, 155 and 165 cm for the 170 and 178cm for slalom and the giant next door these two models allround Laser CX and SX and to finish the handyman Stöckli, the Laser SC.
It is this latter model to impress all the testers. Women and men, masters and former athletes fall in love after three curves of the model designed as a cross between slalom and giant slalom.
Skiing in fact turns out to be stable thanks to the sandwich, but at the same time so much agony as manageable by the skier in evolution. The versatility of this race carver is common to other models from other manufacturers, but the Stöckli does it all, giving greater satisfaction to the skier with the higher accuracy and ease of conducting, with a minimum pulse.
In particular, it is appreciated in the curves of medium-range, often varying the pace, as can happen in a typical busy day on the ski: stability, accuracy and ease of handling.
The reverse in fact turns out to be very fast, almost telepathic and in the face of such a simple setting of curve you will be surprised by the stability offered by the ski length of only 170cm.
The measure 163cm may be suitable for women, but in this case the level of skier needs to be slightly higher than what is required for men: this house is very light.
The snow of the Plateau Rosa on this occasion allowed him to try skiing in winter conditions, with packed snow in the morning, well beaten. As the hours passed, aided by the bright sun of early August, the snow is gradually transformed into a spring snow, with temperatures above zero.
The situation forcast was good to test even the average range of Stöckli, with the CX and SX, both with center larger than the GS, SL and SC, and thought of as giant slalom and sweetened.
Compared to these high-end models Brothers lose something in response, the center of a width exceeding 70mm is felt more than it should, making us regret the ease of setting the curve common to previous models.
In contrast all the testers found that these two models can be very good all-round including skiing, to progress in technique, to teach 8 hours a day, or to take a walk among the snow-covered steps the whole family.
The graphics are the most sober and pleasant testers, destined never to go out of style quickly and be appreciated in the long run. In addition to trade policy, the graphics are renewed every two years, doing so does not depreciate already skiing in January with the unveiling of the new model.
