In the fifth edition of Verbania LetterAltura

An opportunity to meet writers and journalists of repute to talk, tell and discuss literature and the mountains. This gives the 'Lago Maggiore LetterAltura Festival 2011 ", now in its fifth edition, which will begin in Verbania June 22 to 26, and then on Antrona Valley (1 to 3 July), in the valleys and Antigorio Formazza (8 to 10 July) and Vigezzo (16 and July 17). Four appointments to the central themes of literature, the mountains and travel.
LetterAltura (created by the cultural association) will take place entirely in the old city, with the writers who will be involved in informal lunches and snacks that will be asked to tell about themselves and their literary preferences. During the day, then participate in a meeting with the author, talking to a reporter about their own literary production and its relationship with the mountains, travel and adventure. The Festival will then not require the submission of individual books or new books, but would like to offer readers and authors the opportunity to meet and discuss in a comfortable and informal means of dialogue with an experienced journalist.
Guests of this year will be the mountaineer Fabrizio Agosti, journalist of Radio Popolare, Claudio Agosti, Stefano Andreoli (one of the creators of the popular satirical blog Spinoza), the stage actress Gisella Bein and former ski champion Nordic Marco Albarello.
